The Continuing Tale is a tale that has many authors working on the one story. Here’s how it works: I write a paragraph, you continue that paragraph with another of your own, and someone else writes the third, and so it goes, till the story is all told or it stops being readable.
If it sounds easy, it isn’t. To continue the tale, you must first read through the story from the start to where it runs off. Your contribution must keep some elements of the earlier parts and must make sense when the story is read as a whole.
If you are not sure where or how to begin, try reading the short tutorial on Story Development. Remember your story can go in any direction you like but your writing must not conflict with the existing plot or character facts.
