Well, first of all, i think the MFPA has a solid point of wanting to increase the price because we as Malaysian should support our local film. However I don't think it is a good idea because as all of us already know, the Ministry of Education wants English to be used widely. Some of us learn through watching movies and tv so if the price increased, it would effect some of the people whom learn through these method. But as for me, i would still go and watch Hollywood movies even if the price increased. I will watch any movies which i think worth paying. Peace out!!!

I think it is not a good idea because it is not fair.Even if the tickets are increased, people will still pay their money to watch Hollywood movies because they know that it is better than local movies. But to me both movies are the best.

I think this is not a very good solution. People would still choose to watch Hollywood movies becase of its interesting story lines and quality. however not all local movies are bad. Some of them have very good moral values and i love watching them. there are better solutions o this problem. i hope i don't need to pay RM20 per erson the next time i go to the cinemawith my family

not a good idea...
I'm sure people don't mind paying RM 20 to watch Hollywood movies. To me, that's the whole point in going to the cinema ! |

In my point of view,I also think this is not a good idea.Malaysians don't mind spending RM 20 for Hollywood movies. Hollywood movies are much more realistic and interesting compare to local movies. That's why Hollywood movies become nearly everyone's cup of tea.It is not that local movies are bad.So far,all the lacal movies can be watched by everyone. But most of the Hollywood movies can be watched only by the grown ups age 18 above only because of some sex explicted scenes. So think about it.But for me i think both are the best.Byeee..........

I don't think it is a good idea as it will burden local moviegoers. Even if local movies are cheaper, I still would not watch them if they do not have good plots.
